She was predeceased by: her parents, Damien Johnson and Catherine Morris Johnson; and her husband Rayburn Higdon. She is survived by: her daughter Julie Whobrey (Anthony) of Leitchfield; her grandsons, Andrew Whobrey and Joseph Whobrey; and her great grandchildren, Bobby Whobrey, Carl Whobrey and Riley Bailey.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A prayer was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (204 N Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754).
