It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Hayes of Leitchfield, Kentucky, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Oliver Hayes and Eva Jane Duvall Hayes; and his siblings, Stoy, Herman, Charlie Hayes, Gladys Wilkins, Anna Pearl and Nancy Jane Hayes.

He is survived by : his wife Allene Mudd Hayes; his daughter Jaynelle Kelley (James) of Leitchfield; his grandchildren, Dewayne Kelley (Sarah Elizabeth) and Tammy Kennetha Beville (Jacob); and his siblings, Harlin Hayes of Big Clifty, KY and Edna McClure of Leitchfield. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
