He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" McClure and Maggie Poteet McClure; and his siblings, Billy Joe, Shirl McClure and Linda Sue Bostic.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Johnson McClure of Eveleigh; his children, Richard McClure of Louisville, KY, Hilda Pierce of Shepherdsville and Jolie McClure of Charlotte, NC; and his stepchildren, Kathleen Jones of Louisville, Karen White (Bill) of Louisville, Sharon Newby (Mark) of Frankfort, KY and William Murphy (Becky) of Dunedin, FL.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his beloved beagles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
