David Wayne Starr Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025 we had to say goodbye to David Wayne Starr of Leitchfield, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Douglas Lee Starr Sr. and Dale Roach Starr Ransom; his wife Valerie Baker Starr; his stepson Elijah Smallwood; his siblings, Doug Starr (Angie) and Lynn Starr Chadderton (Ray); and his grandparents, Ed, Mattie Harris Roach, Linwood and Ruby Adams Starr. He was also cherished by two nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces and nephews, aunts, an uncle, cousins, and a legion of friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Leitchfield Funeral Home (2373 Elizabethtown Rd, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
