We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2025, at the age of 77, Freelyn DeWayne Stanton of Leitchfield, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Stanton and Pernie Stasel Stanton; his son Kevin Stanton; his brother Steve Stanton; and his brother-in-law Roger Murphy.
He is survived by: his partner Gail Porter of Leitchfield; his children, Jody Stanton, Kyle Stanton (Robin) of Mt. Washington, KY and Stacey Stanton (Shane) of Leitchfield; his stepdaughters, Tresa Porter of Maryland, Tracey Porter of Maryland and Tammy Butts of Maryland; and his siblings, Danny Stanton (Guyanne) of Sonora, KY, Doug Stanton of Cecilia, KY, Hans Stanton of Elizabethtown, KY, Lois Murphy of Elizabethtown and Lisa Muegge (Art) of Arnold, MO.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
