George Demaree Langdon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Demaree Langdon of Leitchfield, Kentucky, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Lincoln and Sarah Ellen Oller Langdon (Oller); and his siblings, Elmer, Edgar Langdon, Essie, Cova Dennison and Sarah Jane Symmes.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Childress Langdon; his daughters, Wanda Green, Patsy Green (Kenneth) and Donna Lawson (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Benjamin Green (Rikki), Brandon Green (Lindsay), Brittany Lawrence (Joseph), Andrew Green, Jonathan Green (Rachel), Adam Green (Kelly), Cassidy Lawson (Dara), Caleb Lawson (Courtney) and Chloe Stuck (Zachary); his great grandchildren, Seth, Sydney, Kenedi, Andersen, Andrea, Logan, Katherine, Landyn, Kenna Green, Brinlee, Jensen and Lincoln Lawson; and his brother Rev. Murrell Langdon (Edith).

All who wish to honor and remember George in person at the visitation or funeral is required to wear a mask or face covering while inside the church for the safety of all those in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the First Apostolic Church Benevolence Fund.
