He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Cornwell of Leitchfield, Marsha Berry (Roderick) of Leitchfield and Amanda Dickson (Greg) of Jeffersonville, IN.; his grandchildren, Holly Smith (Shawn) of Leitchfield and Travis Smith (Alisan) of Leitchfield; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Smith of Leitchfield and Khelani Cornwell of Chicago, IL..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the Antioch General Baptist Church (106 E Walnut St, Leitchfield, KY 42754).
