It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dennis of Leitchfield, Kentucky, born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, who passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Earl Dennis; his wife Penny Dennis; and his brothers, Hubert and Carl Dennis. He is survived by: his children, James Richard Dennis of Leitchfield, Marilyn Kay Dennis (Rondell) of Leitchfield and Robert Preston Dennis (Sandy) of Leitchfield; his sisters, Aileene Newton, Christine Durbin and Betty Jean Gilbert; and his close friend Venice Eads. He is also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
