He is survived by: his wife Florence Hack Gary; his daughters, Suzanne Sweet (Johnnie), Wendy Pierce (James) and Angela Stegenga (Chad); his grandchildren, Dalton (Anissa), Taylor, Emma, Lillie, Eli, Shayna (Branden), Wyatt, Nicholas, Jackson and Jason; and his great grandchildren, Maisie and Ezra. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
