It is with sadness that the passing of Jo Ann Decker of Leitchfield, Kentucky is shared. Jo Ann, born on April 19, 1953, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Flossie Jones and Vernie Jones; and her former husband Doug Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Larry Decker; her children, Sandra Ward (Shannon) and Tommy Nelson (Cherish); her stepchildren, Bradley Decker, Shannon Gibson and Shauna Decker; and her siblings, Barbara White, Jeff Jones, Eddie Beasley, Jimmie Beasley and Timmy Jones. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watkins Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
