She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Newton and Ada Bell Mercer Newton; her husband Roscoe Saltsman; and her sister Kathy Scott. She is survived by: her children, Rita King, Patricia Saltsman (Donald Johnson) and Anthony Roscoe Saltsman; her grandchildren, Joshua King (Emily), Rachelle Sweeris (Bradley), Brittany Saltsman, Deadra King, Cody Saltsman, Andrew Barnett and Nikki Golden; her great grandchildren, Levi, Silas, Hayden, Camden, Paisley, Raelynn, Raegan, Raeleigh, Zaeleigh and Taliyah; her brother Wayne Newton (Judy); her niece Dossie "Sissy" Rankin; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Saltsman and Mollie Simpson. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Watkins Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
