She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Johnson and Eula Renfrow Johnson; her husband Eugene Bratcher; her children, Paula Sims and Donald Bratcher; and her sister Imogene.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Barry Wilkerson (Jen), Maurica Moore, Alex Bratcher and Anthony Bratcher; her children-in-law, Joyce Bratcher and Elvis Sims; and her sisters, Thelma Smith and Shirley Daugherty. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clarkson Church of Christ (307 Elizabethtown Rd, Clarkson, KY 42726). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
