He is survived by: his mother Ella Joyce Patterson Sheffield; his wife Valarie Sheffield; his children, Abby and Jeremiah Sheffield; his siblings, Craig Sheffield and Mary Eaton; his grandmother Alice Patterson; and his aunts, Lois Stilger, Nancy Childress, Jeannie Lane and Sharon Lindsey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Concord Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
