He is survived by: his wife Shayne McKinney York of Leitchfield; his son Chad York (Savannah) of Alvaton, KY; his grandsons, Ethan and Mason; and his siblings-in-law, Brian McKinney of Kingston, TN and Lisa Nation of Knoxville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Joy (100 Schoolhouse Rd, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A burial was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
