She was predeceased by: her father Carlton Brooks; her spouse Ovie Stinnett; and her siblings, Wetzel, David, Ray, Acie, Wayne, Gene, Kenneth, James, Willie Brooks, Hazel Hardin, Ollie Logsdon and Bonnie Mann.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nellie Wright of Brownsville, Deborah Reynolds (Dennis) of Glasgow and Reed Brooks of Brownsville; and her caregivers, Tammy Ashley, Margaret Langdon and Linda Raymer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
