He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Thomason and Emily Louise Burnett Thomason; his sister Sarah Jane Thomason; his brother-in-law Joe Williams; and his aunt Alma Shartzer.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Johnson Thomason of Leitchfield; his children, Shauna Lynne Thomason of Leitchfield and Patrick Shane Thomason (Ashlee) of Leitchfield; his grandchildren, Beckam Cooper, Hudson Cooper, Fynn Cooper, Khelan Patrick Thomason and Elliott Shayne Thomason; his sister Georgia Mae Williams of Selma, IN; his sister-in-law Sandra Psoras of Pennsylvania; his nieces and nephews, Natalie Cooper (Daniel) of Indiana, Lisa Purdue Wright (Jim), Scott Purdue, Pamie Geheman, Mark Psoras and Zachary Dinwiddie; Kim McGrew-Britt, Teresa Musick, Anita Meredith VanMeter, Chris Key, Timmy Pierce, Bethany Kannapel, Mark Stanton and Beverly Harrison.
