It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Amburgey of Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glaydon Amburgey and Dona Hale Amburgey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Amburgey (Sexton); and his children, Pamela Amburgey of Cincinnati, OH, Scott Amburgey (Emily) of Florence, KY and Mollie.
