He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Stuart and Ethel Williams Stuart; his son Dewayne Stuart; and his siblings, Annie May Stuart, Louise Thomas, Beth Shoemaker, Curtis Ray Stuart and James Stuart.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Stuart of Lewisburg; his daughter Carolyn Johns (Steve) of Russellville; and his grandchildren, Kim Luckenbill (Johnny) of Russellville, Bryan Johns (Juanita) of Lewisburg, Nathan Stuart (Amy) of Lewisburg and Nicholas Stuart (Madison) of Lewisburg. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
