He was predeceased by: his parents, Letcher Drury and Mildred Jolly Drury; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Lamar (Kevin), Tommy Meisner (Becky) and Ben Drury; his grandchildren, Jonathan Lamar, Lauren Napier (Derrick), Shelby Biller (Vince) and Lauren Baldwin (Clay); and his siblings, Ray Drewry, Fay Haynes, Janie O'Bryan, Hope Smith, Connie Brazzell, David Drury and Randall Smith.
His family has requested donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Steve Drury Memorial Scholarship (Checks can be made to Stephanie Lamar), which will be given to a young person who is learning the trade of being a brick mason.
