It is with sadness that the passing of Rebecca Eckles of Lewisport, Kentucky is shared. Rebecca, born on August 22, 1946, passed away on July 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Ernest L. Dixon and Zona Haynes Dixon; her husband Jerry Wayne Eckels; her grandson Jonathan Shane Eckles; her siblings, Alma Smith (James), Martha Brummett (Louis), J. D. Dixon (Shirley), Edna Hale (Bobby), Patricia Duvall (Billy) and Linda Stahl (Robert); and her siblings-in-law, T. J. Jewell and Francis Goodbread.
She is survived by: her children, Sona Miller (Ed), J. Shane Eckles (Kara) and Sherrill Eckles (Denise); her grandchildren, Bridgett Eckles Corley (Kevin), Jake Eckles (Samantha), Jared Eckles (Katey), Aiden Embry, Eli Embry, Nic Miller, Kristen McCormick (Jordan), Dillon Eckles (Alexis) and Trent Rosenblatt (Jenny); her siblings, Mira Jewell and Ray Eckles (Diane); and her niece Flora Ann Smith. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
