She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Hays; her parents, Willis Raymond and Maudie Belle Parker Chasteen of Madison County, KY; and her siblings, Jane Clark, Roland Chasteen, Jesse Wayne Chasteen and Lexine Harper.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Friesz (Elliot); her grandchildren, Taylor Friesz (Shelby) and Rachel Friesz; and her siblings, Shirley Chasteen, Evelyn Ernst, Freeda Muhl (Kim) and Burline Slone (Robert). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
