As Ann Ward departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ann Ward may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ann Ward leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Leo McKenna III; and her parents, Levy Ward and Addie Day Ward. She is survived by: her sons, Chuck (Dianne), Richard (Jennifer) and Tim (Celia); and her sister Jane Kehrt. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Leo's Catholic Church (295 Huntertown Rd, Versailles, KY 40383). A Mass was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (874 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508).
