He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Clinton Barnette and Judith Ann Hojara; and his brother Clinton Barnette. He is survived by: his stepmother Lilly Naomi Barker Barnette; his sons, Steven Barnette of Morehead and Tony Barnette of Morehead; his grandchildren, Whitley Nicole Barnette, Kaden Shane Barnette, Paisleigh Ann-Marie Barnette and Aaron Edward Barnette; and his brothers, Travis Payne Barnette of Iowa, Brent Damon Barnette of Morehead, Dwight Douglas Barnette of New Salisbury and Vincent Jerome Barnette of Morehead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
