He is survived by: his wife Jaswinder "Jas" Laungani; his children, Dr. Nashwin Laungani and Dr. Aneesha Laungani; and his daughter-in-law Julia Babbage. He is also survived by six siblings and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the American Cancer Society.
