We announce the death of Barbara Sue Bolar in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 79. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Workman and Elsie Myers Workman; her husband Robert Bolar; and her siblings, Joanne Workman Burchett and Jerry Workman.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Bolar of Aberdeen, Roy Bolar (Kathy) of Fortson, GA and Bill Bolar of Aberdeen; her grandsons, Robbie (Adria), Jamie, Samuel, Jacob, Logan and Ryan Bolar; her siblings, Nick Workman (Joan) of Bedford, IN and Judy Workman of Aberdeen; and her close friend Ethel Morris (Bob) of Elwood, IN.. She is also survived by five great grandsons; three great granddaughters.
