Barbara G. Hahn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara G. Hahn of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney M. Gritton and Evelyn Gregory Gritton; her husband Forrest E. Hahn Jr.; her daughter Karen Hahn Jefferson; and her brother Jackie M. Gritton.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Rivers (Fred), Forrest E. Hahn III (Darisa) and Susan Handler (Brandon); her siblings, Lana Watson (James) and Stewart Gritton; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Gritton and Sandra Hahn; and her grandchildren, Trevor Sutherland, Kate Borntraeger, Spencer Hahn, Leta Shaffer, Emerson Handler and Preston Hahn. She is also survived by her 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Milward Funeral Directors (391 Southland Dr, Lexington, KY 40503). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Lexington Humane Society.
