He is survived by: his wife Junita West; his daughters, Wantrice Douglas Proctor and Bentora Renee West; and his grandchildren, Marcus, Victoria, Maurice Proctor, Ke'Arra, Kiya Wadkins and Kashae Young.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Smith and Smith Funeral Home (340 E Third St, Lexington, KY 40508). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
