She is survived by: her husband Richard Parker (Dick); her sons, Geoffrey Dedic (Gail), Christopher Dedic (Rhonda) and Kenneth Dedic (Laura); her grandchildren, Stormy, Raven, Breanna, Skye, Natalie, Parker and Tyler; and her sister Barbara Bowers (Bruce).
Throughout her career, BJ made significant contributions to her field, including serving on the American Society for Testing and Materials Committee for Textiles and Clothing.
