She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Ewing and Willia Ewing; her sisters, Nancy Ling (Carl) and Margaret Glover (Billy); her nephew John Todd Glover; her niece Deborah Ling; and her great-nephews, Zachary Todd Glover and Jeremiah Mullins.

She is survived by: her husband Ransom; her children, David Cooper (Chris) of Virginia and Jane Van Tatenhove of Kentucky; her grandchildren, Cooper Van Tatenhove of Illinois and Catherine Van Tatenhove of Massachusetts; her grandchildren-in-law, Stan Ling of Ohio and Marty Needham (John) of Florida; and her grandchildren, Willa Brockinton (Joe) of South Carolina, Carl "Chip" Ling Jr. of Arizona, Emily "Mimi" Maggard (Jeff) of Kentucky, Luci Stevens of Georgia, Bill Glover II of Kentucky, Julia Simms (David) of Missouri, Lynndy Baldridge (Bobby) of Kentucky, Michael Kays of Oregon, Teresa Seeley (Tom) of Kentucky, Jeff Sharp (Chris Cullum) of California and Brian Sharp (John Downs) of Kentucky. She is also survived by her 19 great-nieces and nephews and their spouses; and her 20 great-great-nieces and nephews.
