She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Johnson and Irma Johnson of Lexington, Kentucky.. She is survived by: her husband Berle; her children, Torsten Clay of Starkville, Severn Clay-Youman of Brooklyn and Maia Clay of Boise Idaho; and her grandchildren, Minako Clay, Sachiko Clay, Kaspar Clay-Youman and Linnea Clay-Youman.
Contributions to the National Foundation for Cancer Research are suggested in remembrance of Brenda.
