He is survived by: his parents, Bruce Gathy and Carol McGinnins Gathy; his wife Charlane Gathy of Lexington; his children, Alayna Alford (Dave) of Lexington and Andrew Gathy (Nicole) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Camden, Baby Alford, Nola and Andi Gathy; and his siblings, Stephen Gathy, John Gathy, Andrew Gathy (Nicole), Elizabeth Freedman (Adam), Trina, David Buschman and Joy Gordon. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
