We announce the death of Carol Martin in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 87. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Carol will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Carol will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Carol’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rexford Clinton McHenry and Margie Rose Gregory McHenry. She is survived by: her husband Ronald George Martin of Lawrenceburg; and her brother Gregory Lance McHenry (Patricia McHenry) of Paris, Illinois. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
