He is survived by: his parents, Charles Sawyer of Beattyville and Madeline McIntosh Sawyer of Beattyville; his wife Ellen Sawyer of Bowling Green; his daughter Sydney Lynn Sawyer of Bowling Green; his grandson Corbin Christopher Coy of Bowling Green; his grandmother Mary Jane McIntosh; his sister Melissa Jane Caudill (Garland); and his nephew Gavin Caudill of Beattyville, Kentucky. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel (108 Center St, Beattyville, KY 41311). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
