We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025, at the age of 91, Claudette Harris of Lexington, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Claudette's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Claudette's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Clark and Claude Hayes; her stepfather William Mitchell; her stepsister Ruth Anna Ford; her husband Robert Harris; her son William Harris (Butch); and her great grandchild Chelsea Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Harris (Martha) of Sterling, IL, Juana McNair of Columbus, OH and Marche Harris (Judy Ambach) of Louisville, KY; and her stepson Kim Stevenson (Tina) of Lexington, KY.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater Liberty Baptist Church (330 Chestnut St, Lexington, KY 40508). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
