It is with sadness that the passing of Darlene Fugate of Lexington, Kentucky is shared. Darlene, born on January 11, 1947 in Booneville, Kentucky, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Darlene will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She is survived by: her husband Burnice Fugate; her daughters, Kimberly Shepherd of Nicholasville and Tracey Noe (David) of Lexington, Kentucky; her sister Minnie Smith of Beattyville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Kayla O'Dell (Josh) and Aaron McKenzie; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Shepherd and Makenna O'Dell. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home (3450 KY-11, Booneville, KY 41314). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (3450 KY-11, Booneville, KY 41314).
