It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Michael Metts of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Metts and Opal Metts; his wife Sue; his children, Shannon Metts (Sherri), Tina Courtney (Tim), David Metts (Alex) and Matt Metts (Elise); his grandchildren, Michael, Austin, Savannah, Trenton and Noah; his great grandchild Zeke; and his brothers, Phil Metts (Nancy) and Steve Metts (Donna).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM.
