Donald Thomas Helregel Obituary

We announce the death of Donald Thomas Helregel of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 93. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Charles Helregel and Mildred Catherine Helregel (Gowin). He is survived by: his uncles, Don and S. Air Force; his daughter Mary Beth; his wife Sara Jane [Kautz] Helregel; his daughters, Deborah Ann Helregel and Brenda Kay [Helregel] Stull (Scott); his grandchildren, Sara Carolyn Barnes (Jacob Wasilkowski), Jessica Stull Lloyd (David) and Daniel Thomas Jacob Stull (Rachael Wright); and his sisters, Dorothy Helregel Matthius and Judith "Judy" Ann Helregel Millsap. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
