With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald L. Whitely of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Dante, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Whitely and Stella Elizabeth Acres (Crum); his wife Sharon Whitely; his children, Michael Whitely of Lexington and Michelle Whitely of Las Vegas, Nevada.; his stepdaughter Dr. Renee Cecil (Roger) of Louisville; and his stepgrandchildren, Carson Young and Bailey Young Kostecki (Matthew).
A committal service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens (4915 Harrodsburg Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
