She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend James Allen; her parents, William "Willie" M. New and Jane New (Deaton); her daughter Linda Gilbert; and her grandson James "Jay" Gilbert.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl; her son-in-law Rodney Conner; her grandchildren, Tanya Clemons (Monroe), Joshua Conner and Rebekah Ison (Todd); her great grandchildren, Austin Gilbert, Taylor Gilbert, Blake Gilbert, Carlie Gilbert (Miguel Alfaro), Michael Gilbert, Emily Gilbert, Aiden Conner, Adalynn Conner, Abigal Ison, Alivia-Kate Conner, Owen Ison and Briar-Rose Conner; and her great great grandchildren, Jordan Villasana, J'Vaughn Walker and Izabella Bravo. She is also survived by two great-great granddaughters on the way; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
