Though Edna may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edna touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Volpert and Harriet Remenyi; and her husband Paul Joseph Reinert. She is survived by: her children, Frederick Reinert (Elizabeth), Patricia Martin, Maurita Whelan (Mark), Debora Rogers (Gary) and Martin Reinert (Kelly). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to either Bluegrass Hospice Care or to Sayre Christian Village in Lexington.
