It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Joan Kruthoffer of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Jefferson, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Thistlewaite Allen and Charles Allen; her husband Robert Kruthoffer; and her children, Debbie Kinder, Susan Scott and David Scott.

She is survived by: her sons, Bob Scott (Caroline) of Shelbyville, Mark Kruthoffer of Lexington and Jay Kruthoffer of Lexington; her grandchildren, Kristin Ramey, Katie Gardner (Stu), Dodd Kinder, Mandy Evans (Michael), Sawyer Scott, Larkin Kruthoffer, Emilie Kruthoffer, Luke Scott and Zach Scott; her great grandchildren, Elias Ramey, Maddy Evans, Michael Evans and Noah Gardner; and her close friends, Bonnie Thornton and Marc Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
