Elizabeth Clay Witt Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Clay and Mildred Underwood Clay; her aunt Frances Clay Batterton; her stepmother Josephine Hume Clay Paton; her sister Lucile Turney Clay Terrell; and her son-in-law James David Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, Josephine Kneale Witt Greenfield (Albert), Mary Frances Witt Wilson, Douglass Clay Witt (Sally), David Clay Witt, Harrison Clay Witt (Amy) and Norman Clay Witt (Theresa); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Greenfield, Laura Greenfield (Bobby Carey), Mary Greenfield, Cady Witt, Abby Witt Kalmey (Ryan), Emily Wilson Rosenberg (Greg), Clay Wilson, Sam Witt, Otis Witt, McKayla Witt, Jamison Witt and Kinsley Witt; her great grandchild Bobby Sue Greenfield; her nieces, Laura Terrell Hahn (Thomas) and Lynn Terrell Humphries (Jimmy); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah, Will, Stuart Hahn and Ace Humphries.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home (526 Pleasant St, Paris, KY 40361).
