She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar L. Foster and Marjorie G. Foster; her siblings, Jack Foster, Edgar Foster II, Thomas Foster, Stanley Foster, Clarence Foster, Larry Foster, Janet Foster, Marguerite Foster, Marjorie Foster and David Foster; and her stepson Ryan Sparks.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Sparks; her daughter Elizabeth Hastings Sparks; her brother Alexander Foster; and her stepgrandsons, Robert Sparks, Evan Sparks and Cooper Sparks.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - East Main (463 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ellen's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
