The passing of EmmaJean C McCauley of Lexington, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cambron and Hattie Cambron; her husband John; and her siblings, William "Bill" Cambron (Ruby), Richard "Dickie" Cambron, Dorothy Gough (Leo), Ann Sandifer (Eddy) and Martha.
She is survived by: her children, Mark McCauley (Michelle), Laura Wehry (Mark), Greg McCauley (Peggy), Steven McCauley and Sharon McCauley of Lexington. She is also survived by her five children, she is survived by ten grandchildren, and dozens of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, other family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (601 Hill N Dale Rd, Lexington, KY 40503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Copperfield Club House (1336 Copper Run Blvd, Lexington, KY 40514).
