She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. William C. Brown, Sr. and Isabel McCain Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Sloop, Larry Brandt, Beth Brown and Eleanor Brandt.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Christensen; her children, Martin Christensen, Susan Henz (Mike), Stephen Foust-Christensen (Kari) and Brian Christensen (DeeDee); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Tyler, Eliza, Carly, Georgina and Sierra; and her siblings, Bill Brown (Marilyn), Ross Brown (Cathie), Betty Sloop, Mary Louise Forsythe (Bob) and John Brown (Meghen). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church (200 W High St, Lexington, KY 40507).
