With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Gambrell of Lexington, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gambrell and Daisy Gambrell; and his sisters, Carol Abner, Clara Minton and JoAnn Mays.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Nancy Cottongim Gambrell; his sons, Dallas George Lester Gambrell (Ashley) and Joshua Alexander Wolfe Gambrell (Stacia); his brother Pat (Linda); and his daughter Magadeline Gambrell.
