He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Haney and Rosa Lee Wells Haney; and his siblings, Dorsey Weddington, Charles Stamper, Edwin Stamper, Jerry Haney and Jean Stamper Lacey.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Haney (Tracy) of Lexington and Bret Haney (Dawn) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Ben Haney (Brittany), Ashley Mischler (Brian), Ryan Haney and Connor Haney. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Macedonia Christian Church, 4551 Winchester Rd., Lexington, KY 40509.
