It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriett Moorhead of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Harriett is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Miller and Helen Shepley Miller; her husband Edward Darrell Moorhead; and her brothers, John Miller and David Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Moorhead (Tina) of Lexington and Jennifer Short (Benny) of Versailles, KY; her grandchildren, Chase Harber, Hayley Perdue, Taylor Moorhead, Sarah Moorhead and Katie Moorhead; and her friends, Kay Johnson and Carla Evans.
