She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Naomi Zuern Cassell and Whitney Wagner Cassell; her brother James Cassell (Jim); and her former husband Glen Davis Thompson, Jr. (Lyen Crews, Sr.). She is survived by: her spouse Lyen Connor Crews, Sr.; her daughters, Susan Hayse (John) of Downers Grove, IL, Lynn Erickson (Fred Peters) of Lexington, KY and Amy Thompson (Michelle Theall) of Boulder, CO; her sister Margaret (Peggy) White (the late George White) (Peggy) of Danville, KY; her sister-in-law Bonnie Thompson Reddington (late Daniel Reddington); and her grandchildren, Ian Hayse, Claire Hayse, Olivia Erickson (Matthew Hutchison), Blake Erickson and Logan Theall. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
