He is survived by : his wife Celia Thompson; his mother Betty-Lorine Thompson-Schrier; his children, Rob Thompson (Ashlee) and Stefanie Wiley (Joe); his granddaughters, Charlotte Wiley, Eloise Wiley and Rylee Thompson; and his siblings, Michael Thompson (Madeline) and Janet Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Versailles (160 Lexington St, Versailles, KY 40383). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mr. Jim Thompson to First Christian Church of Versailles.
